FAQ
Questions
What you do
1 What is demand development?
Demand development means more than lead generation: whoever you need to talk to next, whether buyers, channel partners or investors, found, reached and turned into real conversations. An appointment-setting agency sells meetings by the unit. We work out who you should be talking to first, then do the talking.
2 Who actually does the work?
A founder-led team: Nouman, the founder, and the Scipioform team. You deal with the people doing the work, and Nouman is one message away. Your proposal identifies the people responsible for the work. When something needs building, a partner software house builds it, and we tell you which one.
9 Do you build software, websites or integrations?
No. We introduce you to partner software houses, tell you we're paid for the introduction, and stay out of the build contract.
13 Do you only work with software companies?
Mostly. We also run outbound-only engagements for B2B service companies.
Where and who
3 Where are you based?
We're based in Pakistan. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out on the first call. What it means in practice: we work the full US Eastern business day, you get written updates you can read without a meeting, and you deal with the people doing the work. What it doesn't mean: it doesn't set our price. Our pricing is built from the problem, and we publish how.
6 How long have you been doing this?
We're new. We'd rather show you what we've done and put our fee at risk than claim years we don't have.
10 If I'm a software studio, will you send my leads to your partners?
No. Anything we generate for you is yours. Three of our published rules cover it:
- Client demand belongs to the client. Any lead, reply or conversation generated inside a paid engagement belongs to that client. It is never routed to a partner, never resold, never reused.
- Referrals come only from direct requests. The panel receives introductions only from people who come to Scipioform themselves asking for build work. Referrals are never harvested from client campaigns.
- Disclosure before signature. A software-house client is told before signing that the panel exists and what R1 and R2 guarantee them.
Results and risk
4 What results have you gotten?
Not published. We've done three engagements for US companies: Inotexel, iqprompt and Gluck. The clients hold the performance data and haven't shared it with us, and we don't publish figures we can't source. What we can show is exactly what we did for each one.
In place of past numbers, there are two things you can check. Before a pilot starts, we agree with you, in writing, what counts as a qualified conversation and how many the pilot should produce; if it doesn't, you get the at-risk part of the fee back. And every result we report from now on comes with its denominator, including the ones that miss.
5 Who have you worked with?
Three US companies, named with their permission. Inotexel, an AI software & digital-product development studio, for lead generation. iqprompt, an AI/SaaS product company, for investor relations, strategic partnerships, event handling and branding. Gluck, a live ecommerce store, for Meta paid-social campaigns to drive sales.
7 What happens if it doesn't work?
It depends on the stage. The diagnostic: if you don't find it worth acting on, we refund the fee in full, and you keep the document. The pilot: we agree with you, in writing, what counts as a qualified conversation and how many the pilot should produce, and if it doesn't, you get the at-risk part of the fee back. We also commit to named deliverables by named dates, with a pro-rata refund for any we miss.
12 What does "qualified" mean?
Whatever we agree in writing, per client, before we start. We don't use the word without a definition.
Money and leaving
8 How do you price?
We price by the problem, not by the hour or the appointment. The diagnostic is one fixed fee, refundable if it isn't useful. The pilot is one fixed fee for a fixed term, split into a build portion and an at-risk portion. Ongoing work is a monthly fee, month to month. We never bill hourly, and we never charge per meeting booked, because that rewards volume over fit.
Figures: not published yet. Your fee is quoted as a fixed figure, in writing, before anything is signed.
14 Can I leave?
Yes. Ongoing work is month to month. You own everything we build, from day one, and you get a written handover.
Your domain
11 Will outreach in my name hurt my domain or reputation?
We run it as a written procedure, not a reassurance. You approve every message before it goes out. Sending runs from separate secondary domains, never your primary domain. Sending volume and warm-up practice are set in writing for each engagement.
